Amidst the winter chill, Kashgar's construction boom shows no signs of slowing down. BGT's project to enhance water supply capacity in northern Kashgar and build a wastewater treatment plant is progressing rapidly. This initiative is not only a key livelihood project but also a vivid demonstration of BGT's precise alignment of its deep technical expertise in water resource recycling with Kashgar's development needs. It injects critical momentum into establishing a closed-loop system encompassing “source water supply assurance—end-point pollution treatment—reclaimed water recycling.”

The efficient recycling of water resources stands as the project's standout feature—a core strength of BGT. The accompanying wastewater treatment plant boasts a daily processing capacity of 50,000 cubic meters, with effluent quality meeting Class 1A standards. Of this, 30,000 cubic meters of reclaimed water will be specifically allocated for landscaping irrigation in relevant Kashgar industrial parks. Upon completion, over 40% of the reclaimed water is projected to be further expanded into multiple applications such as industrial cooling and road cleaning, helping establish a comprehensive water resource recycling network. This will reduce the park's annual fresh water consumption by approximately 10.95 million cubic meters, truly achieving the goal of “turning wastewater into clear water, conserving water to promote development,” and providing strong support for Kashgar's sustainable development.

Yuan Xiangfang, Chairman of BGT (Kashgar) Water Development Co., Ltd., noted in an interview with Kashgar Media Convergence that the project will deliver a maximum daily water supply of 79,100 cubic meters upon operation. This capacity fully meets the daily water demands of the park's existing 237 enterprises while reserving ample water resources for future business expansion and industrial cluster development.

As critical infrastructure underpinning Kashgar's development capacity, this project directly propels industrial upgrading.
