BGT, relying on multiple typical benchmark projects of zero-discharge salt separation of high-salinity wastewater in industrial enterprises and industrial parks, has won the award of "Annual Leading Enterprise in Industrial & Park Water Treatment – Annual Pioneer in High-Salinity Wastewater Resource Utilization" for three consecutive years.

Since its establishment in 2008, BGT has focused on wastewater resource utilization and established a dedicated division to tackle zero-discharge technologies and high-salinity wastewater salt separation in industrial sector. In 2014, it commissioned China's first coal chemical zero discharge project with fully independent intellectual property rights, reducing the operational cost from hundreds of renminbi per ton to just RMB 11 per ton, making zero discharge economically viable. In 2017, it launched the industry's first integrated coal mine and coal chemical high-salinity water zero discharge project, annually producing 110,000 tons of industrial-grade first-class inorganic salts. Recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology as internationally advanced, this project remains a benchmark. In 2018, BGT implemented the first municipal-industrial integrated wastewater recycling project in Wuda District, Wuhai City, achieving 100% wastewater reuse and saving approximately 7.3 million tons of industrial water annually, realizing the vision of "harmonious coexistence among humanity, industry, and nature" within industrial parks. Currently, BGT's services span multiple sectors including coal chemical, petrochemical, coking wastewater, bio-chemical, electronics semiconductor, and salt lake lithium extraction. Up to now, the Company's completed projects annually recycle 700,000 tons of inorganic salts and 2 billion tons of water resources, equivalent to 150 West Lakes.
