From 2004 to 2024, BGT has been deeply engaged in the field of industrial wastewater resource utilization for 20 years. Starting from a single membrane cleaning service, it has continuously accumulated technical strength and gradually broken through service boundaries. Along the way, it has achieved resource recycling of high-difficulty wastewater such as petrochemical wastewater, coal chemical wastewater, coking wastewater, heavy metal wastewater, and comprehensive wastewater from industrial parks. Eventually, it became a leading enterprise in the field of industrial wastewater resource utilization, and ultimately developed into a comprehensive listed group integrating wastewater resource utilization, comprehensive development of salt lake resources, and mineral development.

Looking back on the journey, although the achievements are remarkable, it has been full of hardships; looking forward to the future, although the road ahead is broad, it is also filled with challenges.

At this important historical moment of the 20th anniversary, we gather here and have invited Liu Li, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, Zeng Min, Director of the High-end Automobile and New Energy Industry Bureau of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, and other officials to attend the event.

On behalf of the Working Committee and Management Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, Deputy Director Liu Li extended warm congratulations to BGT and highly praised BGT's achievements in the fields of industrial water treatment, resource recycling of high-salinity wastewater, treatment of high-difficulty sewage, and salt lake lithium extraction.

She said: "BGT Group Co., Ltd. was registered and established in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area in 2004 and successfully listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2021. After 20 years of development, it now has more than 800 employees and 236 invention patents. It has independently developed a series of industry-leading core technologies in the fields of water resource recycling, zero-discharge salt separation of high-salinity water, and treatment of high-difficulty sewage. It has undertaken China's first large-scale mine water + coal chemical high-salinity water zero-discharge salt separation project, the largest industrial park water treatment project in China, and the first domestic project realizing the linked treatment of municipal sewage reuse to industrial enterprises. It has successively won one national second prize for technological invention and three provincial and ministerial prizes for scientific and technological progress. It has been awarded the leading enterprise in industrial park water treatment and the leading enterprise in high-salinity water resource recycling for consecutive years, and was approved as a national-level specialized, fine, new, and unique "Little Giant" enterprise in 2023."

Deputy Director Liu Li pointed out that the energy conservation and environmental protection industry, as a strategic emerging industry, not only has the potential to drive economic growth but also shoulders the responsibility of addressing environmental issues. Beijing's "14th Five-Year Plan" has clearly stated that efforts should be made to accelerate the development of the energy conservation and environmental protection industry, and continuously improve the innovation chain, industrial chain, and supply chain systems of the energy conservation and environmental protection industry through strengthening industrial interconnection, promoting resource sharing, and implementing scenario demonstrations. In August this year, the Development Area implemented the optimization and adjustment of the industrial and scientific and technological innovation organizational system, further enhancing the planning, systematicness, professionalism, and concentration of the industry.

"Although the energy conservation and environmental protection industry has shown a rapid development momentum, its scaling-up process is still accompanied by complexity and challenges. The Economic-Technological Development Area will further implement the high-quality development fusion and promotion plan, continuously optimize the industrial development environment in terms of industrial organization, innovation cultivation, factor guarantee, talent service, and open collaboration, and further promote cooperation and exchanges between universities, research institutes, and enterprises."

Finally, she put forward earnest hopes for BGT's future development.

"First, BGT should give full play to Beijing's advantages, strengthening cooperation with universities and research institutes such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and making new breakthroughs in technology, materials, and talent training.

Second, we hope that BGT can develop new models in cross-industry and cross-field cooperation. For example, BGT should make good use of the industrial ecological advantages of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area to make new achievements in sensors, AI applications, and even the emerging synthetic biology field.

We will also continue to create a first-class market-oriented, law-based, and international business environment, and fully support enterprises in improving products, strengthening technologies, and expanding markets, thereby continuously enhancing their core competitiveness to achieve new achievements."

At last, Deputy Director Liu Li once again congratulated BGT on its 20th anniversary and wished BGT to continue adhering to its original aspiration and keep growing stronger.
